The TalentPool Foundation: Giving, Built Into How We Work

|

Charity has always been important to us, personally and professionally.

Like many people, we’ve spent years donating to causes close to our hearts. We’ve supported family and friends taking on big challenges, marathons, mountain climbs, personal endurance tests, all in the name of raising funds and awareness. And those efforts will always deserve credit.

But if we’re honest, we sometimes found ourselves wondering whether we were sponsoring an individual achievement more than creating lasting impact for the charity itself.

That reflection stayed with us.

From one-off donations to intentional giving

In 2020, we decided to take a more consistent approach by joining the B1G1 community and embedding giving into our everyday operations. Each quarter, TalentPool donated a percentage of our bonuses to three chosen charities across:

  • Education
  • Environment
  • Poverty

It was a meaningful step, but over time, we realised we could do more.

Introducing the TalentPool Foundation

In summer 2025, we launched the TalentPool Foundation.

Every quarter, our team donates 2% of their bonuses, and the business matches it.

The reason for the change is simple, to give more, to be more intentional, and to support the organisations we truly believe need it most, often causes that sit a little closer to home.

Our Q3 charity partners

For Q3 (yes, our year runs slightly differently!), we’re proud to support:

  • British Dyslexia Association
  • Macmillan Cancer Support
  • Pancreatic Cancer UK

Why we’re sharing this now

We’ve never been the type to shout about giving.

But moving forward, we’re going to share these updates quarterly, not for recognition, but to highlight something important, every Candidate and Client we work with has inadvertently helped make a difference.

As small as it may seem, every little really does help.

Here’s to a bigger impact in 2026

So, here’s to 2026, and a genuine thank you to everyone who supported us throughout 2025.

We’ve got a feeling we can collectively create an even bigger impact this year.
